STOCKTON (VICTORIA) GREYHOUND STADIUM

The busy North East town of Stockton on Tees, once famous for its horse racecourse, could also boast at least 3 greyhound tracks at various times in its history, the most obscure being located at 1° 19'W 54°33'N. It is believed that the local football team played at the Victoria Ground just off Suffolk Street, and that the flapping greyhound track was built around the perimeter of the pitch.
